SMS Texting Communication Policy

START

You will never receive a text message from Ariel Axelrod, LMHC, unless you specifically opt into texting by one of the following methods:

1) If you text the office phone to initiate communication, we will attempt to respond by text as our first method of communication.
2) If you select texting as a preferred mode of communication on the Contact Form.
3) If you request to communicate by texting verbally or in writing.

STOP

To stop receiving text messages from Ariel Axelrod, LMHC, text STOP in response to a text message. You’ll receive one (1) final message from Ariel Axelrod, LMHC, confirming that you’ve opted out of SMS communication. Following this confirmation, no additional text messages will be sent unless you choose to opt in again by one of the above methods.

EMERGENCY USE

Please do not text the office phone to request help in an emergency situation. In the event of an emergency, you can call or text 911, or go to the nearest emergency room for assistance.

USAGE AGREEMENT

By using this service, you agree that you will not abuse this service in any way including, but not limited to, spamming or using SMS for nonclinical communication. Ariel Axelrod, LMHC, doesn’t have a separate charge for this service. Subject to the terms and conditions of your mobile carrier, you may receive text messages from Ariel Axelrod, LMHC, sent to your mobile phone. Ariel Axelrod, LMHC, reserves the right to terminate this SMS service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. The information in any message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays. You’re responsible for managing the types of SMS texts you receive. Ariel Axelrod, LMHC, assumes no responsibility for any charges which may be incurred from your mobile carrier.
